RESERVATION POLICYTo help protect your personal information, we only accept phone reservations, which are simpler, much safer, and will be processed and confirmed in about two minutes. By a living breathing HUMAN BEING! Your information is never entered into a computer.
Your valid credit card is required to book your reservation. This hotel standard policy guarantees that your room will be available when you arrive. This also guarantees that you will honor your reservation by arriving on the day of that reservation, and staying for the number of days you have reserved the room.
If you plan to arrive at our hotel after 10:00 p.m., please notify us in advance. We will be happy to make arrangements to accommodate you.
Legends Inn does not accept Discover cards or personal checks.
If you intend to make reservations for a large group and will need more than two rooms, we highly recommend that you have each of the other guests call Legends Inn to make their own reservation. This allows them to determine what type of room they prefer, and it also protects you. Their reservation will be guaranteed with their credit card instead of yours. It might also benefit them to review information in this website.
CANCELLATION POLICY
Please do your best to give us as much notice as possible if you need to cancel your reservation, or if you will not be staying for the number of days you have reserved the room. This helps you avoid being charged for the room, and provides us with other opportunities to rebook your room.
If Legends Inn does not at least receive your notice of cancellation (by phone or in person) within the following time frames, your credit card will be charged at the normal room rate.
Sunday-Wednesday reservations - a minimum 24 hour advance cancellation notice is required.
Thursday-Saturday reservations - a minimum 48 hour advance cancellation notice is required.
Holiday reservations - a minimum 48 hour advance cancellation notice is required.
If your plans change after you have checked in and you will not be staying for the number of days you have reserved a room, the same advance notices are required.
We understand that things happen and plans change, but please keep this in mind - Legends Inn is a small mom and pop - last minute cancellations can significantly impact our business. We are not on the interstate where other hotels get a steady flow of travelers. When reservations are canceled on short notice, we could miss this opportunity to rent the room again.
These considerations are sincerely appreciated.
NOTE FROM OWNERSHave you ever had house guests that were extremely difficult to clean up after, or visitors that ruined your things just because they did not think, or care? We know how that feels. There are not enough words to express how much we appreciate guests that respect our property, as well as other people. These guests usually understand how hard we work at Legends to maintain clean comfortable rooms and keep the property nice and well-maintained. Most wonder how we manage to do it all for a very low room rate! Its not easy, when our costs continue to rise and every hour of labor counts and every dollar wasted also adds up. However, we always try to
use less to do more.
Unfortunately, there are some people who have the attitude that when they rent a room for the night they are entitled to use our property however they choose. Some just take comfort and convenience a little too far (i.e. wiping BBQ sauce or Cheetos on our white sheets, taking our fluffy white bath towels to the river, cleaning their shoes with our hand towels, letting the kids run wild and break things, moving furniture around in the room, taking inside chairs outside, sitting outside while leaving the door open and the air conditioner on, etc).
We certainly want every guest at Legends Inn to feel comfortable, and we do our best to provide you with a nice, clean and comfortable place to unwind and enjoy yourself, at an affordable rate. To help accomplish this, hotel policies are posted in each room.
Guests who do not respect our policies will be charged for all losses, damages, replacement costs, unscheduled carpet shampooing, and/or rental losses. Irresponsible guests who leave behind extremely excessive messes that they or those that accompany them create will also be charged. This includes damages or messes caused by others who might visit them at our motel in Junction.We do our best to help make it convenient to respect the policies. Rooms are stocked with rags in case you need to clean up spills, your bike, shoes, wet dog, or whatever. Old towels, linens and spreads are recycled for all kinds of purposes, and are always available for guests to use. We understand that accidents happen, but if you need help cleaning a mess, please let us know.
Ladies, be sure to bring your own cloths for makeup removal. Makeup and lipstick ruins white towels and linens, as does BBQ sauce, Cheetos, ketchup, orange or red drinks, Koolaid, most beverages, grease, etc. Please do not die your hair at our motel. Carpet with dye stains would have to be replaced.
When planning to use the BBQ grill, please check with the front office to avoid possible scheduling conflicts with others, and please clean up after yourself so that the area is ready for others to use. Remember to bring your apron, utensils and any of that stuff you might need, or you can just shop at the Dollar Store right down the road.
Everybody is free to have lots of fun in Junction, but kids must be supervised at all times.
Minors cannot be left on the motel property without an adult guardian. While swimming in our pool, children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult at all times, and no pets or glass bottles are allowed in the pool area. The pool will open in May. Hours are 10am - 10pm.
Lawn chairs are outside of each room, and extras are available. You can gather your chairs around the picnic tables or in front of your rooms. Feel free to stay up as late as you want - just remember to be considerate of other guests and Legends Inns neighbors. Before turning in, please put your trash in the outdoor trash cans and return the chairs to their proper place, so the property will still look nice the next morning. Large outdoor trash cans are located at the picnic areas and within fifteen feet of each room
Any guest who smokes or allows others to smoke in a non-smoking room will be charged the hotel standard $75 cleaning fee. Cigarette butt cans are outside of each room.
While you are sitting outside, please do not leave the door open with the air conditioner on.Each room has a tile entrance where you can put ice chests or muddy shoes. During rainy weather, old towels are available to spread on the tile entrance. This helps avoid tracking mud on the carpet and having to walk on mud in your bare feet.
Each room has an area by the sink with either tile or a plastic runner on the floor, for piling up dirty or wet clothes. This provides convenience for you and also helps prevent damage to property, as well as lingering odors, unscheduled carpet shampooing, and rental losses.
No bikes, ramps, boats, gas cans, oil, greasy or muddy equipment, or machinery are allowed in our rooms. Please remember, these are our
bedrooms and other guests are planning to stay with us. Gas and oil cans always leave behind fumes for days, and will ruin carpet forever. The other items usually result in damage to our textured walls and/or furniture, tile entrance and/or new carpet, and rental losses due to the time it takes to make the room rentable again.
If you are staying for more than one day and plan to sleep in, housekeeping staff is not always available to service a stay-over room after Noon. Please keep this in mind when you hang your Do Not Disturb sign out. If you are sleeping in but need more clean fluffy towels, soap, or anything else, try to call the front desk sometime in the morning so housekeepers can leave what you need on the chair outside of your door.

Ginger loves to be petted and fed, but please do not offer her food without asking. She may have already had her treats for the day.
Pet guests cannot be bathed in our bathtubs, or do their business in the gardens or on flower pots. There is a wide open field next door. If pets are traveling with you, or if you have friends visiting you at our motel in Junction that have pets, please read the Hotel Standard Pet Policies.
